I would advice you to go take out the paragon boss group (think it's paragon, it's one of the closest bosses), that boss gave me a really hard time. Try luring and try bodyblock em in a good place and use AoE, if you could manage to bring frozen soil that would be good too. The rest of the vanq should be easier with that boss out of the way.. you gotta continue with luring etc. though

Take dervish hero and pack it with Holy Damage, prot/smite hero, in any case use more FIGHTERS then casters (Vow of Silence is pretty annoying!)
I strongly suggest u find some other player for vanquish, hechies don`t last long in that place.Try to lure foe`s don`t jump in battle cause u ain`t gonna like result, that is one of toughest maps to vanquish !!!

I did it with discordway (plus two healers, earth, and ranger hench), there were no problems. Kill everything you can reach with junundu, then mop up remainder. When you get to that boss with multiple acolytes, either lay down Frozen Soil or kill the acolytes and those pesky paragons with Signet of Return first.

Discordway, BHA Ranger with frozen soil (vital to stop the endless rezing)
Fill the other slots with w/e you like. We used Dom Mes, Balth Derv and a couple of monks.
Avatar of Balth gives you holy dmg and using both Eternal Aura and Light of Deldrimore, both Holy dmg PBAoE are pretty effective pressure attacks on a frontline melee char in the midst of a load of undead. BOOM.
You're likely going to die a few times so take DP removers, consets if you want to speed it up etc

holy dmg + frozen soil, not that you should use a conset but if you can use it, me and my ranger guildie (me warrior) did it with consets in under 45 min to get my ledgendary vanquisher joko's being my last area.
My monk bars where
2X ------Smiters OwUTMGHD5xkwRs+4VXC1v6nBAA
HB monk -------- OwYS0YIPxV66G5jIRm+ID0I
Hope this helps a little bit but really make your own bars and have fun doing it

Recently did it as a ranger H/H with an E/Mo ER smiter (Reversal of Damage, Judge's Intervention and other not-very optimal stuff but who cares) (+PS), holy damage Dervish (Wounding Strike) and MM bomber (Sabway's). To the guy that said undead don't leave corpses, LOL.
Only the Stone Carvings don't leave corpses. As for my build, Prepared shot + HoHF (R/D), Needling Shot and, of course, Frozen Soil at some low spec. Henchies were Mhenlo, Kihm, Herta and I think Devona.
I didn't used BHA because of the energy draining from Quicksand. Running Volley or Barrage is obviously stupid here so no to those. Guess you can bring BHA but then you won't have enough damage imo, and a hero will just drain it's energy auto-attacking.
I won't say this is optimal setup. I was hitting 100's+ with Prepared Shot (which was expected) and Needling to finish quickly. The healing was lame with only Mhenlo doing it so most battles ended with everyone at less than 50% hp. It costed me several deaths (no wipes though) at the ele boss, but otherwise it went smoothly. I started from Bone Palace and cleared everything on land, including Para boss (trapped it's group on the corner to the north), ele boss (several deaths, I shoulda have trapped it in the corner too but oh well). The sin boss was also on land but I reached him in Junundu.
I personally wouldn't recommend Curses necros or most other hexes setups. They're almost useless. Vow of Silence and Obsi Flesh, and even hex removal. FS is a must. Pull well and bring some DP removal. It took around 2 hours but I wasn't efficient at all moving through the area anyways.
Perhaps I was lucky with the spawns, who knows.
EDIT: I see you're W/, so obviously go W/D with Heart of Holy Flame, or AoHM if you're using the scythe build. Use a zealous weapon mostly.

As a Warrior from Basalt Grotto:
Master N/Rt healer, Sousuke SF spike, Margrid BHA&FS, Cynn, Herta, Eve, Mhenlo, Aatxe minipet .
Fought my way to the next wurm spore, started killing Eles and bugs on my way to the sin boss. After taking him out I left the wurm, set up FS and aggroed the group near Shekoss on stony terrain. Whenever I had the feeling my party would get overwhelmed, I retreated and made sure FS was setup long enough till the undead corpses I killed vanished. When only three members of the boss group remained i stormed in and spiked them to death. Second moderately difficult boss(para boss) is to the northeast of the bone palace. You can almost reach him with wurms, but you have to leave to aggro him. Set your team near the wurm spore, aggro the margonite mob in front of you, and get you and your team into the wurms asap. Make sure to flag the H/H back a bit so they dont leave their wurms by mistake. Do the same with the boss mob. If you're a warrior with a speed buff skill(did it with +25%) you should be able to aggro and still have enough time to get back to the spore. The part where I really had to fight was the area southeast of the bone palace. I had racked up -20DP and -40 to -60 on h/h, since I generally don't use cons. Another tip would be to leave easy-to-kill mobs like groups of two eles or bugs/monoliths as a source for DP removal when you need it. Challenging area, but fun.

There you go. Stick that on all 3 hero monks. Excellent PvE Smiting build. Deals HUGE damage to undead and simultaneously provides excellent party support and healing.

Start from bone palace and carefully work your way through the groups outside. Then just work your way around the map (i went south first, looked to me like the larger wurm useable area).
Frozen soil to stop resses ( I didn't bring it though) this stops awakened cavaliers "we shall return" +signet of return +awakened acolytes Renew Life
When you can,Sandstorm Crag's should be priority target,I'd say Awakened Dune Carvers second priority (VoS)
Weapon Buffson't know what others will think but I packed Splinter Weapon (N/Rt) Ancestors Rage +Spirit Rift (On a generic curses bar with mindbender) and threw SW+AR on Devona
Wiki reckons with H/H this area could take 3 hrs (only 80-90 mins too much) Smart play/pulling can have it done in 90 mins or so
Consets are usefull (as are powerstones) but dont forget they can be wasted if you use too early and end up near a wurm spoor
Probably more to mention than I did.Good Luck

well even though u did it, I'll tell you now, YOU DONT NEED SPECIAL BUILDS, to get any vanquishing done in any of the campaigns/expansions with Hero and hench, just decent damge and healing.....Same goes for missions and dungeons...i rarely have to swap my heroes around(except NF missions) really depends on what i am dealing with.

Grab all the Monk henchies you can find and maybe healers. The Signet Smiters just make it like walking in the park. Oh, and be sure to bring Frozen Soil to make it five times easier. Oh, and it's pretty awesome watching everything pop. It's sort of like Discordway.
@Skek: Why would you take Avatar of Balthazar just for the holy damage when you can just use AoHM or HoHF for it...?

This looks promising, the last time i went through jokos domain i used some kind of sab/necro setup which worked ok'ish but had a few deaths (as expected) When i get my warrior around there i think i will go with a smiter setup like this cheers...

FINALLY VANQUISHED! thanks to all above posts
Three years later, the above team build used by Dark Kai still works! So if you're still trying to vanquish jokos the template codes are below.
On my warrior i used the following:
Balthazar's Spirit, Holy Veil, Retribution, Healing Signet, Lion's Comfort, Bonetti's Defense, Gladiator's Defense, Resurrect
OQMT4Y5U5ReUTwHBg/KfhuETAA
Three smite monks as previously stated, each very similar with a bit of variation with elite skills:
OwAT44HDnxkgSqnQEXC1HvWPAA
OwIT44HjnxggSqnQEXC1HvedAA
OwAT44HDnxkgSqnQEXC1HvWPAA
As previously mentioned, the 2 monk henchies.
to fill the last 2 spots i used Norgu with a panic buld and Xandra with an SOS build.
The main strategy - buff up, flag heros and henchies (H/H) behind at safe distance, and go grab the mobs.
It got to a point where i had massive DP on my H/H and I kept wiping on the boss near the bone palace. A good strategy if you get stuck here is to get on the worms, flag your H/H so they stay on the sand, send one hero to grab the mobs and bring them back to you.
